I have been a fully qualified Blue Badge Guide for seven years and I am very well acquainted with the history and the drama of the sites that I visit. I am also a member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding and a qualified teacher.
I provide friendly and informative tours to a great many locations across the city. I have a personal interest in each of the sites that I show people around and, with a BA degree in Philosophy, I am very well qualified to discuss modern conceptual art at Tate Modern and my personal interest in the old masters and my Blue Badge training enables me to discuss art and art history at the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery with groups and individuals.
With larger groups I can accompany them on their coach to out-of-town places such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Bath, Salisbury, Stonehenge and Canterbury. My fee remains the same flat rate regardless of the size of the group.
